Will Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s Endorsement of Donald Trump Help Shake Up the System?
The news over the weekend that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. suspended his campaign in competitive states and urged those voters to support Donald Trump has revealed quite a few troubling points about the Democratic Party. During the Trump endorsement speech, Kennedy suggested that those in states where the results were already a foregone conclusion (such as California or Tennessee) should still vote for him, but in states where the people’s votes may actually make a difference, they are being encouraged to cast their ballots for Trump as the lesser of two evils. It is quite pathetic that the powers that be only give us two viable choices in American politics, and because of this, it makes it easier for the bureaucrats, oligarchs, and corporate leaders to control what happens politically. As a result, a broad coalition of a Kennedy family member, a former reality television celebrity-turned-president, tech billionaire Elon Musk, former Democratic Party member Tulsi Gabbard, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and dissident news anchor Tucker Carlson have joined forces to challenge the establishment.
I recently said on social media, “According to the Left, we will descend into a fascist dictatorship if Donald Trump becomes the figurehead of the American government; and according to the Right, a Kamala Harris victory means that becoming a communist state is imminent. Maybe the moral of the story is that we need more choices in politics and that we should stop being gullible and pretending that coloring in a circle on a piece of paper will afford a change. Better yet, we could eliminate the bureaucratic oligarchy that rules over us and replace it with a government that we the people actually have control over.” Although we should not be happy about a two-party system without any real choices, the fact of the matter is that this is what we have, even if it is by design. In New York State, for example, Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party), Jill Stein (Green Party), Cornell West (independent), and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (independent) are not on the ballot at all (at this point) because New York City Democrats have successfully made it impossible for third parties to run in general elections. Therefore, you have four choices for the election: stay home and do not vote, write in a candidate that will not count toward the results, vote for the status quo candidate who will promote corporate interests, or vote for someone who did not challenge the status quo in his first four years as president but that the deep state is going after and appears to be afraid of.
Although Donald Trump may turn out to be a shill who is a willing participant in the political theater on display for all to see, if there is even the slightest chance that he will shake up the system and put an end to the deep state’s undemocratic rule over this country, why not at least entertain his candidacy? As the ancient proverb says, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” and since the deep state is targeting Trump and his supporters in many different ways, perhaps the choice for the 2024 election should be clear. Even if it is extremely unlikely that anything will change under a Trump presidency, why not go with the choice that could possibly result in something positive (even if it ends up being a civil war that leads to the destruction of the bureaucratic oligarchy)? A vote for Kamala Harris is showing support for the status quo.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is likely thinking along these lines, which is why he chose to endorse Trump. For many years, Kennedy was a Democratic loyalist who never would have expected to switch parties. In fact, his surviving family members (not to include John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy, Sr.) have politically disowned him and expressed discontent with the Trump endorsement, and since we know that his siblings are likely blind followers of the party and brainwashed by the system, he can wear this with a badge of honor. He is the only one in his family who has the courage to challenge the status quo and the official narrative, while the rest of them collectively stay in line with the agenda of the powers that be and corporate interests.
In fact, Kennedy made it quite clear that the Democratic Party has become “the party of war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big ag, and big money.” I have written over the last few years of how this statement is true, and I will not rehash all of these ideas here, but suffice it to say that the oligarchs in power are utilizing the Democratic Party to send profits to the military-industrial complex (currently with Ukraine) and pharmaceutical corporations (through the COVID-19 vaccines), as well as to censor information through social media companies (see the Twitter Files and even the new Mark Zuckerberg confession pertaining to Facebook). Since both Kennedy and Trump are opposed to using government policies for these purposes (though Trump has cozied up to big money interests in other areas and in the past), this coalition is considered a menace to the establishment. What government wants its power reduced? For all of Trump’s flaws, the fact that he, at least on the surface, is interested in dismantling bureaucratic entities and threatening the current power structure is something to have a small glimmer of hope about.
After Kennedy was isolated and smeared within his own party as an anti-vaccine lunatic conspiracy theorist, he decided to withdraw from the Democratic Party altogether and run an independent presidential campaign. Democrats made it clear that RFK Jr. was not welcome in their party, and they even tried to censor him at a congressional hearing about censorship (how ironic). Clearly, the Democratic Party has lost touch with its roots and with the general populace, as the First Amendment and free speech should be something that is championed on the left side of the political aisle, but that is no longer the case. Democrats, on top of being unwelcoming and intolerant of nonconforming views, try to censor everything that does not fit neatly into the left-right paradigm and brands these ideas as disinformation, misinformation, or malinformation. You cannot be pro-free speech while simultaneously advocating for the shutdown of political dissent, and the Democratic Party cannot claim to be pro-democracy and also try to silence speech that challenges its authority (this is done under the guise of stopping harmful information that may lead to people dying or democracy being destroyed, because for some reason, saying unpopular words is considered very dangerous).
Even the corporate media got in on the censorship action, as ABC News arbitrarily decided to block out some of RFK Jr.’s interview because it supposedly contained “false claims about the COVID-19 vaccines.” Why would you want less information shown to the public about this topic? If his statements really were false, bring on experts to challenge what he said and debate the merits of the position against these “anti-vaccine” claims? It would then strengthen the idea that RFK Jr.’s views were wrong. By backing out and censoring instead of coming up with counter arguments, it should make you even more skeptical of the official narrative, as a logical thinker would suspect that maybe there is nothing to counter the so-called “false” claims with.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) not only censored RFK Jr.’s views and excluded him from the party, but it also actively worked to keep him off of the ballot in several states. It is ironic that the party claiming to be in favor of democracy actually wants to retain power over allowing for political competition and the free choice of American voters, and even as far back as 2016, the DNC rigged its primary against Bernie Sanders and in favor Hillary Clinton. This included what Julian Assange revealed from John Podesta’s emails about how DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile, who was a CNN contributor, handed the CNN debate questions to Clinton beforehand so that she could prepare in advance for this and two other town hall meetings. Then, there was Chief Financial Officer Brad Marshall who tried to get his affiliates to reveal that Sanders was an atheist in order to hurt his chances with religious Democrats in the south. Additionally, Clinton essentially funded the DNC through joint fundraising committees, and she was thus given the advantage in the race and ultimately had control over the party’s finances (funneling money to her campaign instead of leaving it for the states’ parties) and major decisions (including the party’s staff personnel).
So, is it any surprise in 2024 that the same Democratic Party also launched a campaign to eliminate RFK Jr. from an independent run in the general election? In New York State, Clear Choice Action, which is a Democratic Party political action committee, helped bring about a lawsuit where the judge ruled that RFK Jr. is not allowed on the ballot in the state because of a technical residency issue. Even though he was a lifelong resident of and voter in New York, Justice Christina Ryba said that because he moved to California in 2021 despite remaining a registered voter in New York (having an unused residence in Katonah, New York), he was disqualified from being on the ballot. What does his residency status have to do with permitting New Yorkers to cast a vote for a candidate and have more choices in a general election? Clear Choice Action has also initiated lawsuits against RFK Jr.’s independent run in Pennsylvania and Illinois. In Washington, the DNC and the state Democratic Party have funded a lawsuit to disqualify his ballot access for bogus technicalities; and although the Democratic Party of North Carolina failed to keep RFK Jr. off of the ballot in that state, the fact that it tried to eliminate him because he formed a new temporary party in the state called We the People (this was the only way to get on the ballot) shows just how undemocratic the Democratic Party actually is.
How can Democrats claim to be pro-democracy while actively working to eliminate candidates that might spoil their party’s chances of retaining power? Still, Democrats are a majority in the country, and the DNC may in the end succeed at holding on to the presidency after cheating and rigging the election in its favor. Naïve and ignorant Democrats and progressives will choose to vote for Kamala Harris because she is not Donald Trump, and even if they are aware of the rigging by the Democratic Party, they would not care because they have been brainwashed to think that Trump is a fascist who is coming for them and democracy (oh, the irony).
In addition, Democratic voters in the United States casted their ballots for Joe Biden as the contender for their party in the general election, and yet major Democratic voices, from Nancy Pelosi to Barack Obama, forced Biden to step down from seeking another term and hand over the reins to Kamala Harris. Regardless of whether the average Democratic voter was endorsing Kamala Harris as vice president, they were not approving of her to be the frontrunner on the ticket. Therefore, the Democratic Party defied the wishes of its base and took the authoritarian role of installing whomever they pleased to represent the party.
Again, the Democratic Party pretends that it is pro-democracy, but in reality, it is attracted solely to power and strives to preserve the status quo of corporate and bureaucratic interests. Like I said, if there is even a slight chance that Donald Trump could shake up the system and fight against the powers that be, why not consider that? RFK Jr. is a great option in states where he is allowed to be on the ballot, but at the end of the day, voting is just simply a way for the powers that be to keep us trapped in a perpetual state of compliance.
When you go to the polls on November 5th, remember the 5th of November (just kidding, but maybe not really). But in all seriousness, do not fall for the trap that you must cast a ballot for Harris or Trump. Third parties can be a viable option and a protest vote, or you can refuse to vote simply because you do not want to support the sham system and the political theater. However, the system will continue whether you personally vote or not, and the only way to actually change anything is for people to gather together and rebel. If you choose to vote, fine, and if you choose not to, that is also fine. Things will likely not change either way. However, what we really need is a political revival where we the people stand up to the corruption and authoritarian and permanent power that has ruled over us in secrecy for so long.
