Just as should be expected, the corporate media ignored the reporting by journalist Seymour Hersh on “How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline,” and the CIA and Biden administration were quick to call the piece “false.” However, as I have reported previously, the most likely culprit in the explosions was always the United States, as it makes no sense why Russia would blow up its own pipelines that it spent massive amounts of money constructing. In fact, Russia quickly attempted to repair them after the blast, so this makes the Biden administration’s account even less credible.
We do know that the Obama through Biden administrations participated in sabotage of infrastructure within Russian territory, thanks to journalist Jack Murphy, so it would not be unprecedented for the United States to blow up Russian (and German) infrastructure in the Baltic Sea. In conjunction with a full deck of economic sanctions, the United States and its NATO puppets are engaging in direct acts of war against Russia. Since the United States assisted in ousting the democratically-elected government of Viktor Yanukovych in 2014 and has since supported Kiev’s brutal campaign of terror against the people of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, the conflict in Ukraine has been nothing short of a deliberate provocation against Vladimir Putin (though, Russia is not justified in its invasion either). The notion of the Russian invasion having been unprovoked is actually ludicrous, but at the same time, the civilians of Ukraine are still victims of the American and Russian governments, both of which are vying for control or influence of the country (the Germans, other Europeans, and even Americans are also being forced to pay higher costs in their everyday lives as a result).
Did President Biden and Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland (one of the 2014 coup participants) foreshadow what was going to occur before Putin’s forces crossed over the border into Ukraine, as Hersh suggested? Well, it seems undeniable that the United States had motive to destroy the pipelines, being that Nuland declared, “one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward” (the United States had long been pressuring Germany to withdraw from the joint project, which would have provided cheap oil to Europe). Since this statement was made prior to the invasion, there can be little doubt that the United States had this planned out for some time. Poland and Norway (both of which have an alternative pipeline that can bypass Russian oil) were other countries that actually had motivation to destroy the Nord Stream pipelines, but it looks like Norway was the accomplice. Of course, Poland was ecstatic, as European Parliament member Radoslaw Sikorski said, “Thank you, USA,” in response to the explosions (his actual words were considered Russian disinformation by those wishing to bury the story).
As Hersh pointed out, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met with key members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the CIA, and the Treasury Department in December 2021 to cook up a plan to attack Russia for its imminent invasion. The plan, which involved the American and Norwegian Navy’s, was hatched and executed without the knowledge of Congress (this is no surprise, being that the CIA and JSOC routinely engage in unconstitutional and imprudent covert operations at the direction of the president). From Bornholm Island, Denmark, United States Navy divers (stationed in Panama City, Florida) planted C4 explosives on the pipelines under the cover of the June 2022 BALTOPS 22 NATO exercise, and to avoid suspicion (from Russia, Sweden, Denmark, and others), the bombs were detonated months later in September. As to not allow for early or unintended triggers, a sonar buoy, which would specifically emit a unique sound, was released. When Russian culpability did not stick as the most likely scenario, the corporate media and government officials stopped covering the story, thus making American responsibility seem even more probable (if Putin did actually commit the act, this would be blasted everywhere to drum up anti-Russia propaganda).
Although many will cast doubt on this account and say that Hersh is spreading Russian disinformation (the typical line when inconvenient truths are revealed), we can be sure that Russia had no clear motivation to destroy its own pipelines, and the United States and Norway did. We also know that the CIA and JSOC constantly sabotage other countries’ political situations and engage in terrorist operations worldwide, so it is extremely likely that the Nord Stream pipelines were sabotaged by the United States government. Although we can never say anything with complete certainty, any other theories and explanations fall flat on their faces under scrutiny. The United States wanted the Nord Stream pipelines out of operation well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and, in my opinion, the explosions were not just a convenient coincidence. We will never hear the truth from the government or the corporate press, so this is another story that will likely fade away under the radar of most Americans. When more information on this sabotage is released, perhaps years down the road, nobody will care anymore.
