The Ceasefire in Iran Falters, As Israel Works to Sabotage Peace and Control the United States Government

As we continue to hear the rhetoric coming from President Donald Trump and his supporters that the Iranian regime is so evil and that it can never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, the administration continues to drag its feet on making a deal with Iran to end the war. For our enemy being a supposed imminent threat to our daily lives, the president sure is not taking it seriously and is not bombing the leadership into the ground to halt any alleged attacks against American cities (we were never actually going to be attacked by Iran, but we could be now because of the war). He says that he hopes that “we don’t have to do the war. But we may have to give them another big hit.” If they were dangerous to our way of life, you would think that more airstrikes would be necessary to protect us from the harm, but of course, he does not actually believe his own lies. Therefore, the war continues as a sort of stalemate and costs Americans extra cost of living expenses (taxes) to patrol the Strait of Hormuz (thousands of miles away from the United States).

There had been some exchange of fire in violation of the ceasefire within the last few weeks, but for the most part, it had been holding up (until now). For example, Iran allegedly sent boats into the strait to lay mines and launched drones “too close” to American ships as they passed by (what is too close?), and as an act of “self-defense,” the United States military struck the boats and continued an assault on Iranian missile and drone sites. Then, in response to that, Iran launched missile strikes at American military bases in the Middle East, including the Kuwait International Airport (I can attest that there are many American military personnel that move in and out of that airport, as I was once one of them).

What has threatened the ceasefire more than anything is Israel’s aggression. In fact, it was so bad that Iran threatened to back out of the talks with the United States because Israel violated its agreement with Hezbollah in Lebanon and began striking into the southern suburbs of Beirut (the capital city). The timing of the attacks seemed to indicate that the Benjamin Netanyahu regime was attempting to sabotage the peace negotiations, which we were informed were close to concluding (but, you know, the president seems to always say that), because it did not actually want the war to end (knowing that attacking Lebanon would prolong it because that is one of Iran’s biggest sticking points). In fact, Netanyahu is attempting to gain sympathy by suggesting that Trump is abandoning him and will cause Israel to engage alone (with our politicians, that will never happen, but it would be great if Israel did face Iran alone and we stayed out of that region’s business).

In what appears to be a staged phone call that was “leaked,” President Trump seems to have scolded Netanyahu and called him “crazy” and “ungrateful” because he is willing to sacrifice the deal and continue strikes despite the United States protecting Israel and keeping the prime minister out of prison (for corruption charges in Israel that keep getting delayed because of his constant waging of wars against his neighbors). Trump appeared to be in control in the moment, though we know the reality of the situation and that Israel, and ultimately the powers that be, are actually calling the shots. The president also apparently talked to Hezbollah and got it to commit to no more violence against Israel (then, Hezbollah launched missiles at Israel).

It did not stop there, as Iran claims that Israel targeted three radar sites in Iran, prompting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to attack two military bases in Israel. Israel has left out that part of its report and claimed that Iran attacked it first, and Israel has since hit a petrochemical facility in Iran in retaliation (kids, kids, simmer down, now). Iran has said that Israel did not do this without coordination from the United States, so the future of the ceasefire deal is up in the air (probably in one of the missiles before it hits the ground), and because both Iran and Israel continue exchanging fire up until the time of this writing, President Trump has called on both of the “childish” actors to “stop shooting.” Houthi rebels in Yemen have joined in on the fighting, and Israel has continued to bombard Lebanon, extending into the city of Tyre.

This just in: Iran downed an American Army Apache helicopter, and Trump said that he has to respond (so much for trying to negotiate). The United States military then hit twenty air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites, including at Qeshm Island and Sirik, and Iran punched back with twenty-two missile attacks against American bases throughout the Middle East (Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain). The ceasefire seems to be falling apart, as Trump attempts (or maybe not) to salvage whatever is left in a mess that is largely of his own making.

The fact that Israel always seems to sabotage peace means that there is a problem, and the aggressive nation, with its size and population comparable to New Jersey (the most densely-packed state in the United States), needs to be cut off. Americans do not need this pointless Middle East drama that has the potential to spill over to our soil (and cause World War III). Yet, very few politicians have the courage to stand up to the Israel lobby, and as we can see from the Thomas Massie loss (and that of Marjorie Taylor Greene), anyone who does criticize Israel ends up getting eliminated (a foreign nation buys our elections, or sometimes worse, as we saw with Charlie Kirk). Even though Israel is committing genocide against Lebanon and Palestine (as evidenced by Netanyahu’s grab of territory in Gaza, seizure of 70% of the land, blanket destruction of buildings within the occupied zone, and the displacement of 90% of the Gazan population), we as Americans (and especially politicians) are not permitted to criticize this because to do so is considered “anti-Semitic” (absolutely absurd, and we would never follow this logic with any other country).

Israel having more power than the American people to influence our politics and drag us into a war with Iran and then sabotage the peace process are not even the complete list of the threats that we face as a country from our supposed “greatest ally.” After Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he wanted to “wean” Israel off of the billions of dollars per year (currently $3.8 billion) that Americans are forced to pay from their weekly checks (the government graciously grants us the privilege of keeping half to three-quarters of the money that we earned through hard work) and be able to fend for itself, it was revealed that our politicians are planning to merge the defense technology and data sharing between the militaries of the United States and Israel. Section 224 (United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative) of the 2027 version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which is a bill that is never voted down (both parties always join together to pass it), requires “the Secretary of Defense to designate an executive agent responsible for synchronizing cooperative efforts between the United States and Israel, including bilateral defense technology research, development, testing, evaluation, integration, and industrial cooperation.” It would also in essence share information between both countries by “coordinating with relevant Department of Defense components, including the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate, capability development and innovation divisions, the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, the Defense Innovation Unit, the United States-Israel Operations Technology Working Group, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Missile Defense Agency, the United States Space Command, the military departments, and other Department of Defense entities, as appropriate, to align efforts and avoid duplication” and managing “activities, as appropriate, with the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Commerce, and the heads of other relevant Federal departments and agencies, to ensure consistency with existing laws and regulations.”

Essentially, Israel is being granted admittance to all of the United States’ defense technology and certain levels of access to several different departments, agencies, and elements within our federal government. If this provision of the NDAA is permitted to stay in the final version of the bill, Israel would be free to burrow itself into our government skin and suck the blood out of our country, and even perhaps ultimately control it from the inside out (like a parasite taking control of its host). Israel already controls our country in other ways, but this would be like handing over the keys to the White House and the Capitol to a foreign government. This is treason against the United States, and any congressman, and it will almost certainly be close to every single one, who votes in favor of the NDAA is an enemy of the American people and should be driven from office for betraying those who sent them there to further American interests (not that of a foreign nation). Even though these items are clearly marked in the text of the bill, Israel-first and anti-America commentators (such as Mark Levin) are denying that this is even happening and lying to their audiences and watering down what it actually means (you can literally read the bill for yourself).

Oh, but it does end there. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), which falls under the Department of Defense/War (DoD or Pentagon, or whatever we want to call it these days), increased its threat assessment of Israel to “critical” (as leaked by an official) because of aggressive espionage methods. That is right, folks, the federal government is concerned that Israel is spying on Americans, and officials often must utilize burner phones and computers when in the presence of Israeli agents and diplomats, as well as be careful with what they say in hotel rooms when visiting the country, for fear that our “greatest ally” is monitoring what is being said (bugging rooms, etc.). Americans must walk on eggshells to talk to Israelis, and this is not a normal or healthy relationship between the two countries, and yet, our politicians keep stressing the importance of this “strategic” alliance and prying the money away from our paychecks to prop up this enemy of the United States. The 2013 leaks from Edward Snowden revealed that the United States is also spying on its allies (such as Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden), and this is also an outrage and should be condemned, but the fact that American politicians are supporting the Israeli state at this point is nothing short of treason. Trump-supporting commentators (again, like Mark Levin), can reject it all that they want by saying that the Pentagon denies it, but we already know that Israel spies on Americans (for example, American Jonathan Pollard was convicted in the 1980s for intentionally leaking classified materials to the Israeli government). This is nothing new. It is just a confirmation from an agency within the government.

The frosting on the cake for all of this is the fact that the House of Representatives just passed a resolution to hinder President Trump’s ability to bomb Iran further (and stop the war), but even if the Senate passes it, the president will just veto it. The irony is that the American founding fathers set up a system of government that had the legislative branch determine policies and the executive branch implement those policies once they are passed, as expressed by George Washington: “The constitution vests the power of declaring war in Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject and authorized such a measure.” Yet, with our backwards thinking in modern America, it is the executive branch that determines policies (like war making), and the legislature or the judicial branch has to shoot them down. This is an affront to our Constitution, and it is absolutely absurd for Congress to have to pass something ceremonially, only to have the president mock those who supported the resolution as unpatriotic. No, Mr. President, it is you who is unpatriotic because you are violating the supreme law of the land. Plus, the War Powers Resolution only gives the president sixty, or ninety (by extension), days to wage war without congressional approval, so at over 100 days, he is also in violation of this unconstitutional law that was celebrated by Trump supporters as evidence that he did not need a declaration of war (it was a military operation and not a war, right?). President Trump needs to be removed from office for violating his oath and the Constitution. We the people need to take back power and hold our officials accountable for breaking the law and supporting Israel’s takeover of the United States.

P.S. Thomas Massie recently made a five-minute speech in Congress to honor the victims of Israel’s brutal attack against the United States’ USS Liberty in 1967 (during the Six-Day War). As the congressman goes out with guns blazing, we must ask ourselves why our “greatest ally” would target a ship that was clearly marked with an American flag and why our politicians would cover this up on behalf of Israel for fifty-nine years.
