As President Donald Trump announces the end of the ceasefire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is excited because he is getting what he wanted all along: another shot for the United States to do his country’s dirty work and eliminate the Iranian regime. Israel already sabotaged the peace deal by continuing strikes into Lebanon, prompting Amnesty International to call for an investigation for war crimes due to Israel’s aggressive tactics in that country, but as long as the United States is shielding the Netanyahu regime from accountability, Israel will do whatever it wants, whenever it wants.
President Trump keeps going back and forth, like a ping-pong ball, on Iran: from wanting to destroy Iran’s civilization to trying to negotiate peace to back to desiring Iran gone to wanting another peace deal. Because of Israel’s “intelligence” briefing that Iran was planning to assassinate the president, Trump stated, “They want to take out the U.S. leader — me. I’m on whatever list. I saw this morning I’m on every single one of their lists…And, so far, I guess I’ve been a bit lucky, but maybe that doesn’t last very long. These are evil, sick people. And we have to root out that cancer. That cancer. You know what you do? You’ve got to cut out cancer early. And that’s the way I feel.” It seems to me that this intelligence warning of an assassination attempt is comparable to Israel’s years and years of frightening American politicians into attacking countries on its behalf (remember when Israel had intelligence that Iraq was developing “Weapons of Mass Destruction,” and Netanyahu briefed American politicians to persuade them to invade Iraq?). We have to take whatever Israel claims with a grain of salt because that small nation has an agenda and will do whatever it can to manipulate the United States into doing its bidding.
After the sudden “natural” cardiac-related death of South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, there became speculation that this was an assassination by the Iranian government, as an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-linked Lego video seemed to suggest this, and Laura Loomer, who is a staunch pro-Israel and Trump-supporting voice, claims that she is next (she is the one who kept insisting that the Israeli military should have bombed all of the attendees at the funeral processions of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and she is no better than the Iranians that she claims use violence). Basically, the idea is that Iran has a hit list and is attempting to go one-by-one down it until all of the largest pro-Israel proponents are gone, but of course, there is no actual evidence that this is taking place.
However, it does seem that Graham’s death was not accidental (too coincidental), as he had been touring a Ukrainian drone facility (SkyFall) exactly one day before his demise, and the same day that he was there, Russia bombed that same facility. It may be possible that President Vladimir Putin had something to do with the attack, as the senator was preparing to work with President Trump to initiate an economic sanctions package against Russia, and Graham was a warmonger who wanted to involve the United States in every conflict possible (the man celebrated death and wanted Americans to die for his and Israel’s agenda).
Aside from Iran or Russia, the senator’s death could have been the work of a false-flag operation by either Ukraine or Israel in order to boost the war efforts in both regions, but so far, there is not ample evidence to say who, if anyone, was involved in killing Graham. The federal government has kept quiet on any speculation, which could mean that there is nothing to the rumors or that the administration is nervous about future assassination attempts and does not want to alarm the public and derail his Ukraine (adopted) and Iran (new) wars. The president has left his successors and administration plans to “obliterate” Iran if he is assassinated, so there seems to be some legitimacy to the idea that the United States government has some degree of fear that this may occur (it also could be theater for an agenda). Of course, if we halted the hostilities and brought the troops home, that threat would go from presumably high to almost zero.
Regardless, President Trump sent a letter to Congress saying that he was “restarting” the war with Iran in an attempt to bypass Article I Section 8 Clause 11 of the Constitution, which requires Congress to declare war before the president engages. He is trying to invoke the War Powers Resolution of 1973 by claiming that the pre-ceasefire campaign was a separate conflict and that he gets a brand-new operation of sixty (extended to ninety) days to launch airstrikes. Of course, this is not a new operation, and the War Powers Resolution was enacted to limit the president’s powers, not expand them. Yet, the so-called “small-government conservatives” cheer on these extra-constitutional centralized powers (they claim that they care about the Constitution, but they violate it all the same as the liberals that they rail against). The Senate and House of Representatives have already voted down the war effort in an attempt to veto the president’s legislation on the matter (complete backwards logic from what the founders created and what the Constitution actually says), but Emperor Donald I is a dictator and can do whatever he wants (though, he is only calling the shots on the surface and not behind the scenes).
As the Trump administration exchanges missiles, bombs, and rockets with the Iranian military (that the president claimed was decimated already), the new plan became to control the Strait of Hormuz (as a “protectorate,” of course) by charging a 20% toll on all ship cargo passing through. The ironic part of this is that President Trump was upset because Iran was disrupting the flow of oil, but yet, if he controls the waterway himself, it suddenly becomes acceptable. This hypocrisy should be seen as nothing more than another attempt by the American Empire to conquer more territory and police the global economy. However, shortly after, the president rescinded his threat and decided that the 20% toll would not be implemented, and instead, there may be “trade and investment deals” with Gulf states (whatever that means). He then reiterated the necessity of executing a new form of blockade, and he went back to his previous threat that he would bomb civilian bridges and power plants if the Iranian government did not reach another deal.
While the United States military bombs further into the country’s territory and attempts to prevent it from being able to sink ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran continues to reciprocate against American installations and foreign targets throughout Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan (and going after United Arab Emirates tankers). Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia bombed Yemen (perhaps restarting the campaign where the Saudis slaughtered massive amounts of civilians up until a truce that began to wind down the fighting starting in 2022), prompting the Iran-backed Houthis (the de facto government of the western portion of the divided country) to fire back, and if the Houthis close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait (between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea and the Suez Canal), it chokes off even more of the world’s oil. This is expanding into a wider conflict in the Middle East, and it appears that the United States has committed to another forever war (like in Iraq).
Oil prices are on the cusp of increasing yet again, and Americans must suffer from the decisions made by our overlords. We the people do not want this war, but yet, our dictator and his Israeli master (and those behind the machine) insist that we must fight it. We must overwhelmingly make our voices heard by continuing to oppose the conflict (calling or emailing your politicians will do nothing, as hardly any of them care about anything that we think), and the louder that we get, the harder it is for them to ignore our pleas.
