Continue to Keep Your Eyes Closed to the Nuances of January 6th
Mike Johnson’s New Footage Will Not Likely Change the Official Narrative
At roughly the same time as the new House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson released almost the entirety of the January 6th tapes (approximately 44,000 hours), the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for Washington, D.C. ruled that Donald Trump is no longer exempt from civil lawsuits pertaining to the incident that occurred on that day in 2021. How convenient! So now, on top of facing ninety-one criminal charges and 717.5 years in prison across four indictments, the Democratic Party can rally anyone it wants to sue Trump for the so-called “insurrection” (much like Alex Jones has been sued into oblivion for having an opinion on the Sandy Hook shooting, and the concept of free speech is really being threatened in the United States, largely by those considering themselves progressive). Since Democrats are having a difficult time convincing enough of the public that the event was a violent attempt to overthrow the government (and democracy) using facts, and previous attempts to keep the footage secret and withheld from the people failed; it is time to try a new strategy. Overwhelm the former president with lawsuits and make it impossible for Trump to mount a political comeback. This authoritarian mindset to eliminate political opposition may or may not backfire, but either way, we now have access to the footage that will prove that the day was not as violent as was presented, nor was the original insurrection narrative correct.
Again, as I have said previously, those engaging in wrestling with police or breaking windows should be prosecuted, and there is footage that exists (and was blasted all over the corporate media) showing such violence. I will not pretend that no rioting took place (unless we find out later that that footage was faked). However, what we need to understand is that January 6th had elements of a false flag, entrapment, and genuine acts of violence. It was not a simple event with clear good guys and bad guys. It is astounding to me that those claiming to desire law enforcement reform (mainly those on the left side of the political aisle) are the first to do a flip flop when it comes to January 6th and actually want the police to abuse their power and commit violence against the protesters, utilize militarized police units to hunt down the people who were present at the Capitol, let the rioters rot in prison for years on end, and put some of them in solitary confinement.
The latest footage has not introduced too many new concepts for those who were skeptical from the beginning, and those who need the tapes to see for themselves what transpired on that day are too ingrained in their indoctrinated perspectives to open their minds to the possibility that they have been lied to about what happened. The corporate media has largely ignored the content of the newly-released tapes and has focused more on how it was dangerous to national security to allow the public to see them, and therefore, not much has changed. People who believe that the event was an insurrection will continue to believe that narrative, backed and supported by the media and government officials, and those who question the event will continue to unsuccessfully convince others that the day was not what it appeared to be.
And hey, it is a good thing that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra, was on sight at the Capitol at precisely the right moment to be able to film a documentary on the events of the day and ensure that her mother’s horror was seen from the correct angle while she was fleeing for her life. There is really nothing to see here since it is completely normal to calmly film actors while they are under real-world fire and in danger of losing their lives. Clearly, Alexandra Pelosi was not worried that she would be killed or injured by the protesters while proudly holding her camera, so was the whole event staged? We may never know.
As we learned from the footage released by Tucker Carlson, the police seemed to open the doors for the protesters, lead them around the halls, and not attempt to arrest or detain them once they were inside the building. In the new tapes, however, it goes beyond what we already knew, as there are countless new views and angles showing the police standing around in the Capitol and not being concerned at all that the protesters were even there. One could be led to believe that the police condoned the “sightseeing tour,” and some of the protesters who entered the building may have gotten the impression that what they were doing was acceptable protest (protected by the First Amendment) and not criminal. Therefore, there should be an immediate appeal for the release of some of the January 6th political prisoners.
In another tape, the police escorted a handcuffed man (Jared Luther Owens) into a hallway, where nobody was looking, and then uncuffed him. Upon being freed, Owens gave the police officer a fist bump in an apparent standing in solidarity with law enforcement. This, of course, raises questions of why the police let the man go. Was this a staged event, such as a false flag? Clearly, the police were not concerned that Owens was breaking the law, as they let him continue to potentially roam the halls after uncuffing him. The official narrative on the matter is that the police were so overwhelmed that they did not have the resources to keep the protesters under custody, but as can be seen by the new footage, police officers were standing idly by and letting the protesters walk around. They did not seem overwhelmed or concerned for their lives or safety, so the official account does not stand up to scrutiny.
Plus, Owens was considered one of the violent protesters who assaulted the police earlier that day, so why would they not process him at that moment and prevent him from assaulting more police officers? Could it be that the videos circulating around the corporate media or by left-wing commentators, which purport to show much violence and wrestling between the protesters and police, were staged or part of an entrapment scheme to further the narrative that Trump supporters are domestic terrorists? Did the police get orders from up high to let Owens (and others) go for political purposes? To my knowledge, police do not regularly uncuff dangerous criminals in the midst of an ongoing situation (I have experience in law enforcement and am not aware of such a concept, but maybe the Capitol Police were trained to do that for whatever reason). We need answers, and something does not add up.
Outside of what we already knew, the new footage further reveals that the police provoked the protesters outside the building and were stirring the hornets’ nest. Both police and protesters now admit that that was the pivotal moment that sparked the violence (see this video, and if you are limited on time, fast forward to roughly the sixteen- to twenty-minute marks), and if the police had not started to deploy rubber bullets, paint munitions, pepper spray, and flash-bang and sting-ball grenades, perhaps there would not have been any violence.
Joshua Black can be seen with his cheek pierced by a rubber bullet, and then, several other protesters were shot with non-lethal munitions. The protesters remained peaceful and practiced their First Amendment rights even when the first shots were fired, but at a certain point, it appears that the police started to bombard the crowd (even enjoying the power and authority to hit people with grenades and munitions), causing the protesters to become agitated and violent (even the police admitted that they were making the crowd angry and more violent by hitting them with munitions). We can now see firsthand that the provocations by the Capitol Police on January 6th helped to cause the event that would be used to justify domestic terror responses and preparations and insurrection narratives comparing the day to December 7, 1941 or September 11, 2001 (January 6, 2021 was also on a “one” year).
Little by little, we are beginning to be able to piece together the puzzle of what really occurred on January 6th, no thanks to the Democratic Party and left-wing commentators, who have been attempting to hinder the release of the tapes and paint the “insurrectionists” as domestic terrorists without allowing for nuances (no amount of new details will ever change their closed minds). We already know that the narrative of violent insurrection will be cemented into the history books for posterity to learn, and those questioning the events will likely fade into obscurity until there is nobody left to challenge the official narrative. However, challenges to the narrative are still necessary, as there is a small glimmer of hope that the truth will be spread to the point where even censorship will not overcome it, and even if not, someday, when the American Empire falls (as all empires do), future nations may take a look at alternative history and consider new perspectives on what really took place.
