As President Trump Grows His War Hawk Wings Larger Than Ever, The Iran Campaign Was Started to Appease Israel
It has finally happened. The moment that we have been predicting for several years has become reality. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has persuaded his puppet, President Donald Trump, to conduct overt regime change operations in Iran, and we are now committed to weeks, months, or years of military operations in a country of roughly 92 million people (one-quarter the population of the United States). Blind supporters of the president cheer this on, and the neoconservative war hawk wing of the Republican Party has taken over and alienated the anti-war right that had formed a coalition with President Trump because of his campaign promises to start no new wars or get involved in conflicts overseas that had nothing to do with the United States. It is not a conservative position to wage war without congressional approval or to spend money that American taxpayers cannot afford (Trump supporters have actually turned into the liberals that they criticized previously for violating the Constitution and spending money that we do not have on welfare programs and other unconstitutional measures). With bullying underway in Venezuela and Cuba, Iran becomes the next target in the American Empire’s territorial gains.
The February 28 launching of airstrikes by Israel and the United States on over a thousand targets across Iran, called “Operation Epic Fury,” has destroyed the headquarters and key facilities for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), damaged missile and drone launch sites, hindered Iran’s air defenses, and disabled military airfields, as well as led to the deaths of 787 people (through March 3rd, and this will change as the war progresses). However, this has come at a cost, as retaliatory strikes have been conducted by Iran on American military bases in the Gulf states, including at the Salman Port base in Bahrain (the naval base houses the United States Fifth Fleet), Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan (though the missiles were intercepted), an airbase near Irbil in Iraq, a target in Syria, the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait (where I was once stationed for half of a year in the Air Force). The Israeli people are also suffering from Iranian airstrikes because of the stupidity of their government.
Additionally, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen are all under threat of attacks or bombings in some capacity, as the Middle East becomes a warzone. Hezbollah has restarted a bombing campaign against Israel, which has prompted a retaliatory response by Israel in Lebanon. Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have stated that although they did not participate in the initial stages of President Trump’s new war (British Prime Minister Keir Starmer went as far as to condemn the attack and suggest that his government would not participate in “regime change” operations), they are preparing to assist in defending their Gulf state allies, in what seems to be a World War I-style entangling alliances situation (you know what George Washington said about entangling alliances, but Americans ignore his warnings at their own peril). After allowing the United States access to its bases to continue launching strikes, the United Kingdom suffered an attack at its base in Cyprus. When Spain decided that it would not allow the United States to use its bases to launch airstrikes against Iran, President Trump said that he would unilaterally (and without Congress) “cut off” all trade with that country and perhaps fly into its bases anyway (stating that nobody has the power to stop him from doing it).
During a friendly-fire incident, the Kuwaiti military shot down three American F-15E fighter jets, and although the president is not as hasty to condemn Kuwait as it is Iran, this is still a waste of taxpayer money and shows incompetence and lack of discipline within the overall campaign. Also, during an IRGC attack in Israel, it was claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office was targeted and damaged, possibly leading to him fleeing the area for his life, and although this has not been confirmed, it is not being widely reported either (suggesting that it may be true but that pro-Israeli elements do not want anyone to see it).
The 30,000 to 40,000 American troops stationed in the area are under threat of attack at any time, and there are really only two people to blame (excluding the shadowy figures behind the scenes): Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. Iran did not launch a war of aggression against the United States, and it was Israel and the United States that bear responsibility for any of the deaths, whether they are civilians or American troops. It is absolutely absurd when President Trump tries to pin the responsibility on Iran and says that he will “avenge” the deaths of three military servicemen who were killed during the initial strikes (it is now six military members). The blood is on his hands. He initiated the war, and nobody else can be blamed but him (and Netanyahu). The president even admitted that American troops would die in this war, but he suggested that their sacrifice was worth the cost. He stated, “Sadly, there will likely be more before it ends, that’s the way it is.” He has no shame for the deaths of Americans that never should have been.
When the Israeli military bombed a girls’ elementary school in Minab, Hormozgan Province, Iran and killed 165 people (mostly children), and then later struck another school east of Tehran and killed another two students; President Trump was quiet and had no opinion on the slain children and the unacceptable actions committed by his (not our) ally, Israel. He is pretending that he cares about the Iranian people by saying that they are brave and should take back their country so that he can get away with his slaughter, but at the end of the day, this is all for an agenda.
Even if you want to try to claim that Iran was “enriching uranium” to develop a nuclear weapon, which has not been proven, the country has been days or weeks away from developing such a weapon for thirty years (Netanyahu has been trying to convince us of this for that long). Even the “death to America” chants that neoconservatives use as evidence that Iran was a threat to the United States were actually protests against the aggressive foreign policy decisions that the United States has made (not a direct threat to the American people). Oh, and you cannot forget that Iran has been supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis to conduct covert operations across the Middle East and against Israel, right? Well, Israel and the United States are not exactly innocent actors in the region either. In fact the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is currently supporting Mustafa Hijri (Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, or KDPI), and it has backed Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) and Jundallah (a Pakistani-sponsored group) over the years in order to destabilize Iran internally. None of these things are simple or “black and white,” and there are no clear good guys or bad guys like what we see in the movies (likewise, liberals claiming that Iran is the good guy are also misled).
The fact of the matter is that all of this is propaganda to persuade Americans that they should hate Iran, and it has been in the making for years. Is the momentum in popular opinion changing? Time will tell, but it is interesting that a new poll from Reuters/Ipsos showed that only 27% of respondents supported the president’s new war (mostly Republicans and those who will back the president no matter what he does), while 43% disapproved of it (29% did not have an opinion).
Americans are not completely united around the bloodshed in the Middle East like they were with Iraq and Afghanistan. Speaking of which, President Trump announced that his campaign in Iran will continue until he declares (not Congress) that his objectives are complete, and it will only take four weeks to ensure that Iran is captured for globalist interests in the American-led world order. Do you remember when President George W. Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said that Iraq would only take a few weeks, and then, we were engaged in the conflict for the next over twenty years (and still are to some degree)? Yeah, if history is an indication of what is to come, we will be committed to war with Iran for many years, and even if we install a friendly government for some time (such as Shah Reza Pahlavi, who has been exiled in the United States and is the son of the former king, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi), it will not last. Years later, we will be back in Iran because the government we put in charge was too brutal or too weak to unite the people. It is a trend in American foreign policy.
The United States government overthrew Iran’s democratically-elected government in 1953 (under Mohammad Mosaddegh), and it installed a puppet dictator (Mohammad Rez Pahlavi) who was so brutal that even secularists joined Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini in putting the radical Islamists into power in 1979. Therefore, the United States is directly responsible for the “evil” government that it is now overthrowing in Iran. The fact of the matter is that we cannot tame the Middle East and force government onto people, and American intervention leads to worse outcomes than if we just let the current situation ride out its course.
According to Secretary of Defense (War) Pete Hegseth, this is not a regime-change war, and the United States did not start the war, but both claims are absolutely ludicrous, as again, President Trump did not have to launch the airstrikes in the first place. Yet, he did, and therefore, his administration did in fact start the war and aim toward eliminating the Iranian leadership.
The Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed within hours of the initial bombing campaign, and the American-backed Israeli assassinations and bombings killed (or may have killed) IRGC Chief General Mohammad Pakpour (his predecessor was killed in the June 2025 Israeli strikes), top advisors Ali Shamkhani and Ali Larijani (acting supreme leader while Khamenei went into hiding), IRGC Quds Force head Esmail Qaani, army chief Abdolrahim Mousavi (his predecessor was also killed in June), and Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh. With several high-ranking officials dead, what will the Iranian regime do next?
Now, the 88-member Assembly (Council) of Experts, which comprises of high clergy within Iran’s society, chooses candidates, who are vetted by the Guardian Council, for supreme leader. Until a new successor is chosen, a three-member leadership council (currently consisting of President Masoud Pezeshkian, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, and Ayatollah Alireza Arafi) remains in charge. Current candidates for supreme leader include: Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, Alireza Arafi (representative of the Guardian Council), and Hassan Khomeini (grandson of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini). During the proceedings of the Council of Experts, Israel bombed the building in the hopes of disrupting the choosing of the next supreme leader (it is unlikely that this made any difference).
Benjamin Netanyahu has been leading the United States to war with Iran for the last several years, and he has finally gotten a president to do his dirty work for him. As you may recall from the Epstein Files and pro-Israel campaign donors (like Miriam Adelson), President Trump is clearly compromised by Israel, and he is doing its bidding by toppling the Iranian regime. American troops will die for Israel, and I certainly did not join the military years ago to fight for a foreign power. We were not living our lives in fear of Iran, and to most of us, it was just another country in the Middle East that our government complained about. It posed no threat to any of us, and now, we must sacrifice our lives and finances on behalf of Israel. Trump has bowed to King Netanyahu, and he is subservient to a foreign government. He has betrayed all Americans, and he must be removed from office and replaced by someone loyal to the people and the Constitution.
These blind Trump supporters have no principles or concept of reality, and the reasoning for this war makes no sense and has no moral basis. In fact, Secretary of State Marco Rubio muddied the waters by suggesting that because Israel was going to attack Iran, the United States had to act to protect against imminent retaliatory strikes from Iran. This does nothing to ease people’s minds in terms of Israel pushing the United States into the war. So basically, the choice to go to war with Iran was decided by Israel, and Israel alone. Clearly, Israel was the driving force behind this unjustified attack, and we allow that country to dictate our foreign policy and drag us into wars.
Americans are already struggling to pay their bills (some of it as a result of President Joe Biden’s economy), and now, President Trump is making the situation far worse (between tariffs and this war). As Iran shuts off the Strait of Hormuz as a response to the war, gas prices are in the process of skyrocketing beyond what we have seen. What is interesting is that conservatives cried about high gas prices under President Joe Biden, but when Trump raises the prices, they will cheer it on. Plus, in order to pay for the war, the government will either increase our taxes or implement a monetary policy of quantitative easing and have the Federal Reserve “print” money (inflation) and cause even higher prices across the economy. What happened to Trump’s campaign promise of lowering costs and not starting new wars? He is nothing but a globalist puppet, no different from past presidents.
Plus, although they have condemned the attack on Iran in strongly-worded messages, China and Russia (and North Korea) have essentially abandoned their ally of Iran (and Syria, Cuba, and Venezuela) because of their fear to challenge the power of the United States. The American Empire gets what it wants, and there is no power on earth that can stop it currently. President Trump will continue to bully the rest of the world into compliance, and it is really up to the people of the United States to force change. We need to protest, spread messages, and take any action that will result in an end to this war and all of the others that the president campaigned that he would not get involved in but has. It is up to us whether we want to send our troops to die on behalf of Israel, and if we refused to fight, there would be nobody to do Trump’s and Netanyahu’s evil deeds. President Trump once stated that Liz Cheney would not be so open to war if she had to fight it herself and had guns pointing at her, and now, the president has become a war hawk that Dick Cheney would be proud of. Go figure. Let President Trump and his supporters arm up, ship out, and get shot on the front lines, and leave the rest of us alone.
